Hail-damage assessment continues on Tekirdağ farmland

Damage assessment is ongoing in agricultural areas of Tekirdağ province following a severe hailstorm.
- The hail affected areas in Süleymanpaşa district, particularly Ferhadanlı and Ahmedikli.
- Crops inspected include sunflower, watermelon, and cereals.
According to a statement from the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, director Mehmet Aksoy and a technical team visited producers in the Ferhadanlı and Ahmedikli neighborhoods of Süleymanpaşa district, which were affected by the hail. The team inspected fields planted with sunflower, watermelon, and cereals to assess the damage to crops. Aksoy said that assessment work is being carried out meticulously, listened to the producers' requests, and conveyed his wishes for a speedy recovery. Technical staff also informed producers about the damage assessment process and the procedures to be followed.
