Tahsildaroğlu made a public statement after sharing about a product of the company in virtual media and some press organs. In the statement made by Tahsildaroğlu, the following statements were made: It was deemed necessary to make the following statement in order to inform the public correctly about the posts about a product of our company in social media and some media organs recently. Upon a consumer complaint submitted through Alo 174 Food Line, a sample of our 400 g Ripened Classic Cracked White Cheese product with batch number 290625 was taken from the chain market shelf and as a result of the analysis carried out by Kocaeli Food Control Laboratory Directorate, our company was informed that the product was not suitable for L. monocytogenes.
Following the notification, an official inspection was carried out at our production facility, and the process of precautionary withdrawal of the products of the batch in question from the market was initiated. Within the scope of the investigation initiated by our company, environmental samples were taken from 37 different points in our production facility, as well as samples from the end product and products with consecutive batch numbers, and were analyzed in accredited laboratories. No evidence of L. monocytogenes was found in the analyses.
Within the scope of the Listeria Environmental Monitoring Program implemented regularly in our company, L. monocytogenes has not been detected in the environmental monitoring studies carried out to date. The product subject to the complaint is produced on a separate production and packaging line, and no findings of nonconformity were found in our other products during the inspections. Our production facilities operate in line with national legislation as well as international food safety standards recognized by GFSI, and are regularly inspected by authorized institutions and independent international certification bodies. We kindly request you not to rely on false claims on social media and some media outlets that go beyond the scope of the incident and target our other products and brand.
