This week's investment performance in Turkey saw gold lead gains, while the stock market posted a slight loss. The BIST 100 index fluctuated between 13,875.58 and 14,228.02 points, closing at 13,943.87, down 0.27% week-on-week. Gram gold rose 2.18% to 6,185 lira, with Republic gold up 1.69% to 40,492 lira and quarter gold gaining 1.77% to 10,170 lira.
Foreign currencies also strengthened: the US dollar increased 0.76% to 47.3440 lira, and the euro rose 0.31% to 53.8590 lira. Investment funds gained 0.45% and pension funds 0.41%, with precious metal funds delivering the highest weekly return at 1.78%.
