The First Session of the MEB Academy Entrance Exam Has Started

The Academy Entrance Exam (AGS), which is the first session of the Ministry of National Education Academy Entrance Exam (MEB-AGS) administered by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), has started. The first session of the exam is held in 103 exam centers, 1031 buildings and 17 thousand 92 halls, including AGS, 81 provinces and Nicosia, the capital of the TRNC. The exam started at 10.15, and candidates were not allowed into the exam buildings after 10.00. In the AGS, which covers the subjects of verbal and numerical ability, history, geography of Turkey, educational sciences and the Turkish national education system and legislation (Constitution of the Republic of Turkey, Human Rights Law, National Education Fundamental Law No. 1739, Primary Education and Education Law No. 222, Teaching Profession Law No. 7528), candidates are asked 80 multiple-choice questions and are given 110 minutes of time to answer.

51 thousand 978 people, including police officers, work in AGS, to which 391 thousand 906 candidates applied. T.R. Those who have lost their identity card, do not have an identity card or have a T.R. in their identity card. Provincial and district civil registry offices are kept open on exam days for candidates who do not have an ID number and photo.

On the other hand, the second session of MEB-AGS, the Teaching Field Knowledge Test (ÖABT), will start at 14.45. Some parents, who did not want to leave the candidates who will attend the AGS session alone, came to Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Faculty of Law in the morning. Parents wished good luck to their relatives who were going to take the exam at the entrance of the faculty and shared their exam excitement.
