Thousands of candidates aiming for a career within the Ministry of National Education are researching the latest details about the exams before the Academy Entrance Exam and the Teaching Field Knowledge Test. In the exams, which will be administered in two separate sessions, candidates will closely follow the information regarding entry rules, exam durations and session order, and it is stated that the practices in the guide published by ÖSYM will be fully implemented.

While research on how many minutes does AGS take, ÖABT exam duration, and ÖSYM exam rules are intensifying, one of the most important reminders for candidates who will take the exam is the building entrance practices. Within the scope of the rules that ÖSYM has implemented for many years, entrance to the exam buildings will not be allowed after the specified period. For this reason, candidates are recommended to be present at the exam centers early in the morning.

AGS and ÖABT sessions, for which teacher candidates have been preparing for months, are seen as a critical stage in terms of both their career planning and their future goals within the Ministry of National Education. The Ministry of National Education Academy Entrance Exam (MEB-AGS) will start at 10.15 in the morning on Sunday, July 26, 2026. In this first session, where candidates will be asked 80 multiple choice questions, the total response time will be 110 minutes. For candidates who do not have any additional time, the MEB-AGS session, which starts at 10.15, will end exactly at 12.05. WHEN IS ÖABT? Teaching Field Knowledge Test (ÖABT) will start at 14.45 in the afternoon on the same day.

In the ÖABT session, candidates are asked 50 questions about their fields, and the exam duration varies depending on the requirements of the branch.
