Türk Telekom is at the top in patent applications for the second time in a row

The company announced that it increased its patent applications by over 20 percent to 921 in 2025 and became the organization that filed the most patent applications in Türkiye for the second time in a row. The company's patent applications include future technologies such as artificial intelligence-supported network management, 5G, 6G, quantum secure communication, Wi-Fi sensing technologies, data center solutions and smart infrastructures. The company also announced that it increased the number of academic publications by 129 percent to 131 in 2025.

These publications include studies on artificial intelligence, new generation communication technologies, quantum technologies and digital infrastructures. Türk Telekom increased its contribution to international standard development studies by 237 percent last year. The company participates in international organizations such as the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), Wireless Broadband Association (WBA) and LF Broadband within the Linux Foundation. He works in areas such as 6G network architectures, artificial intelligence-based services, Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC), wireless energy transfer for IoT devices, quantum technologies and autonomous network management.
