Minister Şimşek evaluated the "Sectoral Inflation Expectations" for July

Minister of Treasury and Finance Mehmet Şimşek stated that despite the uncertainties created by geopolitical developments, the 12-month ahead annual inflation expectation of households decreased by a total of 6.6 points in the last 3 months, and the expectation of the real sector decreased by 1.2 points. Şimşek evaluated the July "Sectoral Inflation Expectations" data of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye from his NSosyal account. Pointing out that the inflation expectations of households and the real sector have improved, Şimşek said, "Despite the uncertainties created by geopolitical developments, the 12-month ahead annual inflation expectation of households decreased by a total of 6.6 points in the last 3 months, and the expectation of the real sector decreased by 1.2 points. he said.

"Maintaining financial stability is of critical importance in the current conjuncture where global uncertainties increase. A permanent increase in our competitiveness will be achieved through productivity, technology-based production and macroeconomic stability. We determine our policies in the fight against inflation by taking into account permanent gains.
