Roads around Istanbul’s Yenikapı event area will be closed to traffic for 14 days starting August 1, with the exception of August 3-10, according to the Istanbul Police Department. The closures will remain in force until August 16. From noon each day until the end of scheduled programs, the following routes will be shut: the coastal north and south side roads at the Kadir Topbaş Show Center junction, the Vefa Karakurdu overpass, the Yenikapı Rally Area, and the inner side road between the Yenikapı rally grounds and the Yenikapı İDO ferry terminal. Drivers are being directed to use the coastal Kennedy Avenue as the alternative route. The measures are linked to events planned at the Fatih Yenikapı Event Area.
