The UK Foreign Office Has Not, As of 2 August, Issued Specific Travel Advice for Greece

Two firefighting helicopters collided west of Athens on Sunday as crews battled a huge wildfire that has destroyed more than 100 homes northwest of the Greek capital, while a fresh blaze forced evacuations on the island of Kefalonia. Europe has been hit by wildfires after a period of record-breaking heatwaves and little rain, conditions scientists say are exacerbated by climate change. The UK Foreign Office has not, as of 2 August, issued specific travel advice for Greece.

Its general guidance warns there is a high risk of wildfires from April to October and advises travellers to register their mobile phones to receive emergency alerts. “Wildfires are highly dangerous and unpredictable. The situation can change quickly, the FCDO said. Anyone evacuated should contact their airline or travel operator for assistance with return travel.”
