Israeli Strikes Kill One in Lebanon, Two Soldiers Die in Blast

At least one Lebanese person was killed and 12 others wounded in an Israeli air strike on the southern Lebanese town of Tibnin on Wednesday, while two Israeli soldiers died in an explosion in a booby-trapped building in the village of Majdal Selem, according to Lebanon's Health Ministry.
The violence unfolded amid ongoing negotiations between Lebanon and Israel in Rome, where Beirut is pushing for a phased Israeli troop withdrawal. The Israeli military said it launched "precise strikes" across southern Lebanon in response to a blatant violation of the ceasefire by the Hezbollah terrorist organisation, and its Arabic-language spokesperson Ella Waweya issued renewed forced displacement orders for residents of al-Mansouri. Al Jazeera's Zeina Khodr reported from Beirut that Majdal Selem remains under Israeli occupation and has no Hezbollah presence, making the incident notable. Since March 2, Israeli attacks have killed at least 4,333 people and wounded 12,250 others in Lebanon, per the Health Ministry.
