Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian Calls for Rapid Reconstruction of Damaged Infrastructure After US Attacks

Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian ordered the rapid reconstruction of the damaged infrastructure after the US attacks and the use of the best technology on the subject. According to the written statement made by the Iranian Presidency, Pezeshkian met with officials of the Ministry of Transport in the capital Tehran. After he was presented with reports on sea, air and land transportation, border gates and customs, Pezeşkiyan ordered the rapid reconstruction of the infrastructure damaged after the US attacks and the use of the best technology on the subject.

Pezeşkiyan also said that alternative routes should be put into effect for damaged transportation points. Describing the US attacks on Iran's infrastructure as a "war crime", Pezeshkiyan stated that the issue should be followed up by the competent international authorities. Pezeshkian stated that the country's strategic position will further strengthen and its geopolitical capacity will increase, especially with the expansion of transportation networks with neighboring countries and the completion of railway networks.
