The Ministry explained social service models to 23 thousand 150 headmen in 81 provinces

The Ministry of Family and Social Services explained social service models to 23 thousand 150 headmen in 81 provinces in the last two months in order to inform citizens accurately about social service and social assistance opportunities, identify their needs and direct them to appropriate service models. According to the statement made by the Ministry, the Ministry continues to strengthen its cooperation with local stakeholders in order to identify individuals in need of social services and support at an early stage within the scope of the Social Risk Maps and Family Guide System and to direct them to inclusive, accessible and sustainable support mechanisms in the environment they live in. In this context, "Information Meetings for Mukhtars" were held under the coordination of Provincial Directorates in order to institutionally inform the muhtars, who are among the external stakeholders, about the social service models of the Ministry.

In meetings held in June-July, the Ministry explained social service models to 23 thousand 150 headmen in 81 provinces. During the meetings, headmen were given comprehensive information about the social service models offered by the Ministry, social assistance mechanisms and the services carried out in Social Service Centers. On the other hand, neighborhood visits were carried out by professional staff within the framework of Family and Community Based Social Support Studies carried out to strengthen institutional cooperation within the scope of the Family Guide System.

During these visits, one-on-one meetings were held with the headmen and information was provided about the Ministry's social service models. These visits aim to identify citizens in need of social services earlier and to activate the necessary support mechanisms effectively and quickly. The aim of the information meetings and field visits carried out by the Ministry is to strengthen the cooperation between public institutions and the neighborhood level, to detect social risks at an early stage and to deliver timely, effective and holistic social support services to citizens in need.
