National athlete Görkem Gedik became the Turkish champion in the rope-assisted diving (FIM) category without fins at the Freediving Open Water Seniors and Masters Individual Türkiye Championship held in Antalya's Kaş district. Gedik, who successfully dived to a depth of 81 meters in 2 minutes and 45 seconds with one breath in the championship, came first in his category. Making a statement after his championship, Gedik said that he had been preparing for this organization for a long time and that he was very happy with the success he achieved.
