TV Brasil broadcasts this Saturday (25), starting at 10:45 am, the first match of the Women's Basketball League (LBF) 2026 final, between Sampaio Basquete and Unimed Campinas Basquete. The opening clash of the best-of-five series will be in São Luís, at Ginásio Costa Rodrigues. Having achieved the best campaign during the first phase of the tournament, the São Luís team guaranteed the advantage of being the home team (host) in up to three games of the decision.
Cerrado wins and forces a third game against Sampaio for a place in the LBF final. Women's Basketball: TV Brasil broadcasts this Sunday's LBF semi-final. Sampaio Basquete secured their qualification for the decision by defeating Cerrado BRB 61-46 in game 3 of the semifinal, closing the series at 2-1. This will be the team's fifth consecutive final in the LBF, and the eighth in total.
Unimed Campinas Basquete secured a place by beating Sesi Basquete Araraquara 70-67 in the second game of the semi-final and closing the series 2-0. This will be the fourth time that Campinas and Sampaio face each other in the LBF decision. In the history of the duel, the team from São Paulo came out on top and took the title in 2018, while the champion trophy went to the team from Maranhão in the 2019 and 2022 editions. Understand the LBF playoffs The phase brings together the eight best teams from the regular season, which advanced to the quarterfinals. The path to the cup works as follows: Quarterfinals: Played in best-of-three-game series; Semifinals: Follow the same best-of-three structure; Final Stage: The season is decided in the best of five matches.
