Braut buzzer

Three things I have learned from Haaland this summer. Erling Braut Haaland scores, after watching around the goal area and waiting for a ball. You can save energy, take it easy - and then cut back with an efficient work session, a heavy workout and a creative spurt.

From wandering around the gym, I now go straight to the heavy weights, load up with plates on the bar and just bam, bam, bam. Few repetitions, maximum weight. In the past, I used to aim to work for two hours straight, but ended up making the rounds through all the online newspapers, writing half a paragraph before I was interrupted by an email, which often ended up in a scroll hole.

Now I set the clock to 25 minutes, my eyes on the ball and just hammer down the text. You know that clip where Haaland goes over and takes the water to Brazil's keeper while the rest of the gang shove and cackle? Is there a more perfect picture of how life should be lived?

It's tempting to get fired up and get involved in arguments you know lead nowhere, whether at work, at home or in the comments section. I'm also the first to get carried away, and get up. But from now on I'm going to have a bit of a stupid-di-dum-di-dum kind of attitude, and rather do my own thing.

You have given and given and given and would like to give even more, but now there is actually something else you have planned that must come before other people's expectations. People survive it. If Haaland can say that it is not possible to meet in the castle square where there are 90,000 people, I can also say that it does not fit with that meeting in the evening.
