SP concentrates most of the country's electorate with 21.48% of voters

Data from the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) released this week reveal that the state of São Paulo has 34,104,226 voters eligible to vote in the 2026 elections, which corresponds to the majority of the country's electorate - 159,745,463 voters. The state concentrates 21.48% of those who vote. The capital of São Paulo has the majority of the electorate, with 9,135,407 voters (26.7%), followed by Guarulhos, with 948,410 voters, and Campinas, with 870,672. Next are those with incomplete primary education (17.53%) and incomplete secondary education (16.67%).
