Access Blocked to Polymarket

Polymarket, a US-based prediction market platform that allows users to make predictions about everything from politics to sports, from the economy to any event you can think of, recently came to our country. However, the platform soon faced sanctions in Turkey. According to the information confirmed in the Information Technologies and Communications Authority (BTK) query system, Polymarket has officially been closed to access in Turkey.

It was seen that this decision for the platform was taken on July 16, 2026. It was closed with the decision taken by the National Lottery Administration. The decision was taken by the General Directorate of National Lottery Administration. In line with the decision of the National Lottery Administration dated July 16, 2026 and numbered 2026/10, the main domain name of the platform, "polymarket.com", was restricted due to violation of "illegal betting" regulations.
