Ibrahim Kalin Met Libyan Officials in Ankara, Including Defense Minister Abdusselam Zubi and National Security Adviser Ibrahim Dibeybe

MİT chief İbrahim Kalın met in Ankara with Libyan Government of National Unity Deputy Defense Minister Abdusselam Zubi and Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dibeybe's National Security Adviser İbrahim Dibeybe. Talks covered Libya and regional developments, steps to continue Libya-Turkey cooperation, and efforts to preserve stability in Libya. Zubi and Dibeybe appreciated Turkey's effective and constructive role, while Kalın stressed Turkey's strong support for peace and stability would continue, backing the unification of Libya's eastern and western administrations under one Libyan umbrella.
Kalın also met Libya's Interior Minister İmad et-Trablusi in Ankara, discussing additional steps to enhance security and stability. Trablusi expressed satisfaction with Turkey's support for the Government of National Unity, and Kalın said Turkey would maintain support for Libya's security and development, cooperating closely on counterterrorism, human trafficking, and illegal migration in Libya and North Africa.
