Bonehill-paine, Creator of the Crewkerne Gazette AI Clips, Is Set to Stand for Somerset Council.

Luciana Berger, now a peer, urged Conservative leader Kemi Badenoch to drop Joshua Bonehill-Paine, a former neo-Nazi jailed for antisemitic abuse against her, saying he should have no role in public life due to "his racism and his view of women. Badenoch defended the selection on Tuesday, citing "second chances and noting Bonehill-Paine's Home Office certification to train police on antisemitism.
The Board of Deputies of British Jews called the selection beggars belief, citing his multiple convictions, including for assaulting a police officer and burglary. He also hit back at Reform UK after Nigel Farage criticized the Tories, sharing an email showing Reform had thanked him for applying as a candidate.
