St. Vincent closed her two-month orchestral tour Sunday at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, her adopted hometown, with the venue's orchestra transforming her discography into a theatrical experience. The concert capped a concept that began with a BBC Proms invitation last year, where she collaborated with conductor Jules Buckley at Royal Albert Hall, leading to her album Live in London! and a trek with local symphony orchestras in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, and Detroit.
