Fatmanur Murat, 25, Lost Her Life After the Vehicle Rolled Over on the Roadside in the Şıhkıranı Area of Sis Dağı Yaylası in the Şalpazarı

A woman died and her cousin was injured when their rented ATV overturned during a trip to a highland plateau in Trabzon, Turkey. Fatmanur Murat, 25, lost her life after the vehicle rolled over on the roadside in the Şıhkıranı area of Sis Dağı Yaylası in the Şalpazarı district on the evening of August 2. Her cousin, Yağmur Murat, was also hurt in the incident involving the ATV with license plate 61 AIK 691. Gendarmerie and medical teams were dispatched to the scene following a report. Both women received first aid and were taken by ambulance to Şalpazarı State Hospital, where Fatmanur Murat succumbed to her injuries despite doctors' efforts. Yağmur Murat's treatment continues.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
