Turkey to Unveil Q2 GDP Data at 10:00 AM Local Time

Turkey's economic growth figures for the second quarter of this year are set to be released today, with the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) publishing the highly anticipated data at 10:00 a.m. local time. The Turkish economy grew 4.7% in the second quarter of last year and 2.5% in the first quarter of this year, extending its unbroken growth streak to 23 consecutive quarters. The first-quarter growth rate also surpassed the averages of OECD countries, the European Union, the Eurozone, and the G7. The release of the latest data will clarify whether the economy has carried its growth performance into a 24th consecutive quarter.
