A good option is the Sierra Morena in the province of Seville, specifically the charming town of Constantina, which offers everything needed for an unforgettable stay. Although it may seem surprising to those unfamiliar with the area, the province of Seville has places that seem straight out of a storybook.

Beyond the Giralda, the Cathedral, and the Alcázar, the province is full of towns with white houses, beautiful trails, endless dehesas (pasturelands), and spots where temperatures drop several degrees compared to the city center. Constantina and the Sierra Morena in general have traditionally been the escape for Sevillians seeking a more pleasant climate in summer, with night skies full of stars like few others in the world. The town is one of the most complete tourist offerings in the region, with a valuable historic center ideal for leisurely walks and natural surroundings at their finest.

The town lies within the Sierra Morena de Sevilla Natural Park and is declared a Cultural Heritage Site. Its urban area features beautiful white houses and stately mansions. Above it all stands the Castle, which dominates the panorama and was declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 1985. For decades, Constantina has been a perfect base for outdoor activities in the natural park.

Hiking is one of the most popular activities, with many routes in the municipal area that can be walked almost year-round. Among the most popular trails, all with abundant vegetation, are Los Castañares, La Jurdana, Jibrarrayo, and the spectacular Cerro del Hierro, near the neighboring town of San Nicolás del Puerto. Just two kilometers from the town is the hermitage of Constantina's patron saint, Nuestra Señora del Robledo Coronada. The temple sits on a road that, if followed to the end past a mysterious military base, leads to the highest viewpoint in the Sevillian Sierra Morena, a privileged spot to take in the entire surroundings from above.
