The widow and two children of PC Matthew Blades will be at Old Trafford for Manchester United's Premier League game with Ipswich. PC Blades and his colleague PC Tom Clough died in a head-on collision between their police car and a vehicle going the wrong way on the A66 near Middlesbrough early on 22 August. Five people in the other vehicle also died. United said they learned of the deaths of the two officers "with great sadness".
