In Samsun, Turkey, an alternative August 30 Victory Day ceremony was held after the official provincial program, with unions, chambers, mass organizations, and the New Party laying wreaths at the Atatürk Monument. The event marked the 104th anniversary of the Victory Day celebrations. Following the official parade organized by the provincial governorate, KESK, DİSK, TMMOB, the Samsun Bar Association, professional chambers, and political parties laid wreaths and observed a moment of silence at the monument.

Speaking at the ceremony, New Party Samsun Provincial Chair Mehmet Özdağ said, "Today our nation is waging a new struggle for liberation." Özdağ noted that August 30 Victory Day holds historical significance for their party, saying, "This year holds special meaning for us because this is the first official holiday we celebrate as the New Party. Our nation founded our party to rebuild the country's bright future. This movement has risen from the bottom up, through the people's own will." He added, "Just as a liberation struggle was waged 104 years ago, today our nation is once again waging a new struggle for liberation against the cruel, oppressive AKP regime that exploits the people's sweat, on the path toward becoming a prosperous, free, fair, and social state governed by the rule of law." Özdağ stated they would carry out work in every neighborhood of Samsun under the leadership of New Party General Chair Özgür Özel, saying, "We will go street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood, house by house; we will leave no door unknocked, no hand unshaken. Emphasizing that they would protect the Republic's heritage on Samsun's soil, Özdağ said, "Carrying the independent, free, secular, and democratic Republic to a Turkey where justice, prosperity, and national sovereignty truly prevail is our common responsibility today.
