Minas Gerais Governor Candidates Campaign Across State

The first round of the election is scheduled for Oct 4, with a runoff set for Oct 25. Here is how each candidate spent the day, in alphabetical order: Alexandre Kalil (PDT): Kalil gave a morning interview to the newspaper O Tempo, attended a support event for his candidacy, and recorded campaign programs in the afternoon. Ben Mendes (Missão): Mendes attended the Missão Party Congress in the evening at the Hotel Ouro Minas in Belo Horizonte. Cleitinho Azevedo (Republicanos): Azevedo took part in a morning "adesivaço" (sticker campaign) and walk in São Sebastião do Oeste.
