Turkey Highlighted Love of Country, Awareness of Independence, and the Historical Significance of the Battle of Manzikert and the Great

The sermon marked the 955th anniversary of the Battle of Manzikert and the 104th anniversary of the Great Offensive, stating that Anatolia became a homeland with Manzikert, sovereignty was cemented with the conquest of Istanbul, and the inviolability of the homeland was declared to the entire world with the Great Offensive. The sermon drew attention to the sacredness of protecting the homeland and the exalted status of martyrdom, noting that the existence of the homeland is the guarantee of the state, honor, peace, and the future. It was recalled that in our civilization, love of country is considered a part of faith, and it was conveyed that protecting the flag, the call to prayer, and sacred values, as well as doing one's job in the best way and building a just society, are also requirements of patriotism. The sermon touched on the ongoing struggle between truth and falsehood throughout history and emphasized that as a nation, we must remain vigilant in unity and solidarity.
