Jeonggwanjang Volleyball Coach Ko Hee-jin Resigns Over Team Dinner Incident

The club announced on the 28th that it accepted Ko's resignation, saying it would move quickly to appoint a successor so the players can focus on training and match preparation. During the All-Star break in January, a coach identified only as "K" was accused of inappropriate behavior at the team dinner. A player who was present later raised the issue with the club, which reported the matter to the Sports Ethics Center and the Korea Volleyball Federation (KOVO) in May. Coach K resigned immediately after the complaint, and Ko was excluded from club duties from May as well.
