Google Offers Students Free 12-Month AI Plus Subscription in Turkey

The offer includes Gemini features and 400 GB of storage. Students aged 18 and over who are enrolled in a higher education institution can apply. During the free period, students can use Gemini's AI features with higher usage limits.

The package also includes 400 GB of storage. Google is emphasizing Gemini features designed for studying in the student package. One of these, Gemini Notebook, uses course materials uploaded by the student to shape the study process.

The system first identifies topics the student is weak in through a short test, then prepares short lessons and tests based on those topics. Students can track their progress on a development screen. Gemini can also create interactive content in chat for topics that require visual explanation.

For example, students can examine a topic through 3D DNA models, graphs, and simulations. Google is also combining the Deep Research feature with Gemini Live. When a student starts a research project, Gemini can review sources and prepare a report.

The system sends a notification when the report is complete. The student can then ask voice questions about the report via Gemini Live and request explanations of specific points. University students aged 18 and over in Turkey can apply through Google's student campaign page to use the Google AI Plus plan free for the first 12 months.

The campaign runs until December 31, 2026. According to Google, the normal price of the AI Plus package is 199.99 TL per month, totaling 2,399.88 TL for 12 months of use. Users who benefited from the student campaign offered in 2025 can also take advantage of the new offer. However, these users must wait for their current free membership period to end.

The new offer can be activated from the end date of the previous membership. Users who do not want to pay after the free period must cancel their subscription before the renewal date.
