SKT, Kakao, KT Picked to Run South Korea's 'AI for All' Service

South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT has selected consortia led by SK Telecom, Kakao, and KT as operators for the 'AI for All' project, a national artificial intelligence service available to all citizens. The ministry announced on the 28th that it had evaluated six applicants — SK Telecom, MKD, ESTsoft, Xenon, Kakao, and KT — through written and presentation assessments before choosing the three consortia. Each consortium will leverage its strengths to launch the service within this year.
