Trabzonspor Will Return to Trabzon on a Private Turkish Airlines Plane

Fatih Tekke resigned as Trabzonspor manager after the team's elimination from the UEFA Europa League playoff round, leaving the stadium on the team bus without attending the post-match press conference. The experienced coach announced his resignation in an interview with the broadcaster after the match against Hungary's Ferencvaros. He then spoke briefly with club vice president Zeyyat Kafkas in the dressing room before boarding the bus with his assistants.

The bus carrying the claret-and-blue team departed from Groupama Stadium, where the match was played, and headed to the airport. Trabzonspor will return to Trabzon on a private Turkish Airlines plane. Tekke's departure came after Trabzonspor were eliminated by Ferencvaros in the Europa League playoff round.
