Rockstar Games has released its most comprehensive official gameplay showcase yet for the highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI, revealing new mechanics and character interactions in the game's world. The approximately 27-minute video premiered on Netflix on the evening of August 27, debuting exclusively for subscribers for the first six hours as part of a special agreement. Titled Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, the showcase became available on Netflix at 10:00 PM Turkey time on Thursday, August 27, 2026, with Rockstar announcing it would be published for free on YouTube and its official website on Friday, August 28, 2026, at 4:00 AM.
The footage was recorded directly from the game running on a standard PlayStation 5 console. Although the game's PlayStation Store page carries a PS5 Pro Enhanced label, the material shown reflects standard hardware performance. The video runs approximately 26 minutes and 49 seconds.
The showcase presents the game's daily life and action systems together rather than as a classic trailer. Character switching between Jason and Lucia has become far more cinematic compared to GTA 5. One of the most notable details is the return of the six-star wanted level familiar from earlier games in the series. During police chases, vehicles take physical damage and tires can be shot out, indicating deeper combat mechanics.
The weapon system and HUD design also appear completely revamped. Players continue using the familiar weapon wheel during combat while also being able to pick up weapons from the environment. Rockstar emphasizes that the game is not solely about crime and conflict through daily life activities.
Scenes showing characters opening refrigerators, changing television channels, and selecting outfits demonstrate the high level of detail. Side activities such as playing basketball, scuba diving, riding jet skis, and BASE jumping expand the open world's interactive capacity. Additionally, players can pet and interact with dogs, adding details familiar from RDR2. Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI in Turkey are available through PlayStation and Xbox stores.
The standard edition is listed at 3,999 TL, while the Ultimate edition carries a price tag of 4,999 TL. The game launches on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. No official date has been announced for the PC version. Players who pre-order digitally can pre-load the game starting November 12. The physical edition also releases on the same date, but the box will contain a download code instead of a disc. Rockstar has not yet shared a release date for the PC version.
