Armed Attack on Istanbul Coffeehouse Wounds 3 in Türkiye

Three people were injured in an armed attack on a coffeehouse in Istanbul's Büyükçekmece district on Tuesday evening. The incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. in the Mimaroba neighborhood, according to local reports. Unidentified assailants arrived at the coffeehouse on a motorcycle and opened fire on those inside, the reports said.

The attackers fled the scene on the same motorcycle after the shooting. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene following a report to authorities. The injured were given first aid at the scene before being taken to nearby hospitals by ambulance.
