The teams' work continues in Cide, a district of Kastamonu that was affected by floods. After the floods in Cide, located in the coastal region, nearly 800 personnel from 36 institutions started working. Cide District Governorate Social Assistance and Solidarity Foundation Vefa staff cleaned the flooded ground floors.

AFAD and Vefa volunteers cleaned the homes of the elderly, people living alone and disabled people and helped them move house. Municipality, forest management directorates and special provincial administration teams from surrounding provinces continue their water evacuation efforts by responding to 200 notices. 2 trucks of water delivered by Istanbul Arnavutköy Municipality were also delivered to the citizens.

Damage and damage assessment studies continue in the district. Municipalities, Directorates of National Education, Turkish Red Crescent and Religious Foundation teams are serving 3 meals to 2,500 people. Cide District Governor Furkan Atalık and Mayor Nejdet Demir visited tradesmen and citizens and listened to their problems.

District Governor Atalık said that the state was on the field with all its reflexes. Stating that they made a great effort to eliminate the grievances experienced by the citizens, Atalık said, "We wish them a speedy recovery. Hopefully, all the means of the state are here."
