Temperatures across Turkey will gradually rise in the new week, with thermometers again exceeding 40°C in the Mediterranean coastal areas and Southeastern Anatolia. While intermittent showers are expected in the Central and Eastern Black Sea regions throughout the week, strong winds will affect western and inland areas. According to the Turkish State Meteorological Service, the recent rainy spell will lose intensity, bringing sunny weather to most of the country.

At the start of the week, showers and thunderstorms are forecast around Edirne, Trabzon, Rize, Artvin, and the inland parts of Ordu and Giresun. In the following days, precipitation will shift to the vicinity of Artvin and Ardahan, along with the inland areas of Giresun, Trabzon, and Rize. Strong northerly winds are expected midweek in western and inland regions, particularly in Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean, and Central Anatolia, with gusts up to 60 km/h; authorities advise caution. Today, Ankara will be clear with a high of 26°C, Istanbul partly cloudy at 29°C, and Izmir will see temperatures above 35°C all week.
