🇹🇷 TürkiyeMersin's Free Python Training for Youth Continues at Di̇gem Center in Türkiye

Mersin Metropolitan Municipality's free "Python Software Expertise" training for young people continues at the Digital Youth Center (DİGEM) in the Yenişehir MERCEK facility. The approximately six-week program aims to boost digital skills and provide job-market competencies. Participants receive theoretical and practical instruction in algorithms, Python programming, big data analysis, artificial intelligence, and data analysis.
The training is part of the "Today's Youth, Tomorrow's Professions" project, funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in cooperation with the Union of Municipalities of Turkey (TBB). Software Engineer Serkan Karakız, who teaches at DİGEM, said the program starts with algorithm training before moving on to Python, big data analysis, and artificial intelligence. Karakız noted that software is used across many sectors today, and the goal is to equip young people with a foundation to use technology not only in the software industry but also in their own professional fields.
