🇳🇬 NigeriaHotkeed, Has Lamented the Normalisation of Streaming Farms in the Nigerian Music Industry, Warning That He Will Expose Colleagues Who Use

Speaking during a recent interview with Jbrandy, the musician explained that streaming farms deprive genuine talents of the attention they deserve. He declared that he is not afraid to expose those guilty of farming their streams if they ever cross his path. "If 20 artists are stream farming, you have taken 20 genuine artists back.
If 50 artists are stream farming, you have taken 50 genuine artists back. It's that bad," he said. Hotkeed questioned why artists using streaming farms cannot wait to gain genuine streams, adding: "Why are you in a hurry?
You will rush to social media to brag about doing numbers after using streaming farms." He claimed to know at least 50 Nigerian artists who use streaming farms, saying the people doing it for them had approached him. "If any of those artists using streaming farms ever cross my lane, I would expose them," he stated. "I will rather have 2,000 streams than deceiving myself with 2 million fake streams," he added. Hotkeed expressed concerns over the impact of such practices on the industry, insisting that genuine artists are being pushed back by those inflating their numbers.
