Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Polish President Karol Nawrocki for congratulating Ukraine on the 35th anniversary of its independence, and pledged to strengthen ties between the two nations. He added that Ukraine is committed to developing ties with Poland, saying: We are committed to developing ties between our two strong nations – with respect and truthfulness toward the past, a clear-eyed approach toward present threats, and optimism for our shared future in the EU and NATO. Separately, Marcin Przydacz, Head of the Bureau of International Policy at the Office of the President of Poland, said that Nawrocki does not plan to visit Kyiv in the coming months, although dialogue between the offices of the two presidents is continuing.
