No injuries were reported, according to the police log for the capital area. The Reykjavik capital area police dealt with several drivers last night who were stopped for various violations. One driver was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol at 154 kilometers per hour in an 80 km/h zone.
The driver also had no license and failed to signal. In the jurisdiction of the Hafnarfjörğur and Garğabær police, officers dealt with a young person on a motocross bike, and the case was resolved with the driver's parents. Two other motorcycle riders were stopped, and both were found to be under the influence of drugs and riding uninsured bikes.
One rider had no license, and the other had a temporary suspension due to open cases. A traffic accident was reported where a scooter had collided with a car in the jurisdiction of police station 4, which serves Grafarvogur, Árbær and Mosfellsbær.
