Researchers state that even if diseases such as cancer are completely controlled, this accumulation of mutations may impose a theoretical upper limit on human lifespan. This model showed that the theoretical upper limit of human lifespan could be approximately 146 to 194 years. The study stated that immortality does not seem biologically possible.
