🇳🇬 NigeriaRegistrants Must Be 18 Years or Older and Possess a Valid National Identification Number (NIN) in Nigeria

The Progressives Congress will reopen its electronic membership registration nationwide on Monday, Aug. 31, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Mr Felix Morka, the party's National Publicity Secretary, announced the move in a statement on Tuesday in Abuja, urging all stakeholders, supporters and members, old and new, to take part in the exercise, which will be conducted in all wards across the country. Existing members are expected to validate their membership, while new and intending members are encouraged to register and join the party. Registrants must be 18 years or older and possess a valid National Identification Number (NIN).
Morka explained that the E-Registration Exercise is designed to digitise the party's membership register, ensure the integrity of membership records and enhance efficient access to membership data. He said the exercise was critical for planning and management decisions and to promote internal democracy, while strengthening the party's commitment to democratic innovation in Nigeria.
