The Kremlin reiterated on Tuesday that it considers the deployment of NATO member states' military contingents in Ukraine "unacceptable, a day after French President Emmanuel Macron announced that exercises of the 'Multinational Force for Ukraine' of the Coalition of the Willing "will be conducted in the months of October and November. We have repeated several times, at various levels, that the deployment of foreign military contingents from NATO countries is unacceptable for us, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, as quoted by the Interfax news agency. Macron's announcement of the autumn exercises came as part of ongoing efforts by the Coalition of the Willing to support Ukraine, though the Kremlin's response underscores the continued tensions between Russia and NATO over the conflict.
