Mali PM in Algiers: Nations 'Condemned to Walk Together' in France

Mali's Prime Minister, Major General Abdoulaye Maïga, reaffirmed on Monday in Algiers the willingness of Mali and Algeria to continue their cooperation for the benefit of both peoples. Mali and Algeria are condemned to walk together, condemned to work toward prosperity for both peoples, the head of government said after a meeting with Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. Carrying a message from Transition President, Army General Assimi Goïta, Maïga also conveyed Goïta's agreement to make an official visit to Algeria.

This step reflects the two countries' desire to consolidate their relations and strengthen bilateral dialogue.
