Two Contestants Were Absent From the Press Conference in Türkiye

The TV2 network has announced the lineup for the new season of its celebrity impersonation show Sztárban sztár, along with changes coming to the Megasztár singing competition. The announcement was made at a press conference, revealing a mix of returning favorites and fresh faces for the 12th season of the format. Among the contestants confirmed for Sztárban sztár 2026 are singer Lola, a prominent Hungarian pop star of the 2000s, and Takács Nikolas, known from the first season of X-Faktor.

They will be joined by actress Gallusz Nikolett, TikTok star Dr. Mátyás, singer-actress Komonyi Zsuzsi, former Megasztár winner Gudics Máté, and Mohamed Fatima. The roster also includes SOFI, Kohánszky Roy of the Roy és Ádám project, singer Tóth Abigél, singer-actor Brasch Bence, and host Kovács Áron. Two contestants were absent from the press conference.

Host Till Attila explained that Kovács Áron was missing because his fourth child had just been born. The show, which will be hosted again by Till Attila, will see the judging panel of Liptai Claudia, Lékai-Kiss Ramóna, and Stohl András return, with Papp Szabolcs replacing Hajós András. Fischer Gábor, TV2's director of program strategy and content production, had confirmed in June that the show would return this year after the previous two seasons featured an All Stars version.

The last two editions were won by Dér Heni and Peter Sramek. The All Stars series also featured international celebrities like Hans Sigl from The Mountain Doctor and Natalia Oreiro from Wild Angel. Fischer also detailed significant changes for Megasztár, which returns for its ninth season on September 5. The show's structure will be revamped, and the first two weeks will feature double episodes.
