Reykjavík's downtown was buzzing with energy during Menningarnótt (Culture Night) on Saturday, despite less-than-ideal weather. reporter and photographer Ari Páll Karlsson was on the scene capturing the atmosphere on film. There was a large crowd at Harpa concert hall, which hosted a diverse program of concerts and dance performances.

Many also made their way to Hafnarhúsiğ, the Reykjavík Art Museum, where exhibitions were on display and children could participate in a special art bingo. Additionally, visitors could take part in Karin Sander's work, People on Concrete Plinths. Although the weather may not have been at its best, the mood in the city center was upbeat.
