After the petition for the establishment of the New Party was submitted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Chairman Özgür Özel performed the Friday prayer at the Hacı Bayram Veli Mosque with the MPs and party members, and then met with the founding MPs at the Anatolian Club. At the meeting of the Founders' Board, in addition to the Chairman, the 80-member Party Assembly and the 15-member High Disciplinary Board (YDK) were elected. Additionally, the names who will serve in the Turkish Grand National Assembly group were also determined. Some of the 10 deputies who are not on the PM list will serve in the GNAT group and the Parliamentary Presidency Council.
