Distribution of seats in the Turkish Grand National Assembly has changed

The distribution of seats in the Turkish Grand National Assembly changed after 91 MPs resigned from the CHP to join the New Party. The "28th Term Deputies Seat Distribution" section on the website of the Turkish Grand National Assembly has been updated due to the resignation of 91 deputies in the CHP to join the New Party to be established under the leadership of Manisa Deputy Özgür Özel. After the update, the number of CHP MPs decreased to 44, and the number of independent MPs increased to 102.

The death of Saadet Party Kocaeli Deputy Hasan Bitmez and DEM Party Istanbul Deputy Sırrı Süreyya Önder, the loss of the membership of Turkish Labor Party Hatay Deputy Şerafettin Can Atalay, the AK Party Istanbul Deputy Murat Kurum, who was appointed as the Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, and the CHP MPs Burcu Köksal, Abdurrahman Tutdere, Hasan Baltacı, who were elected as mayors from their constituencies.
