🇹🇷 TürkiyeOn Saturday, 22 August 2026, Enforcement Officers Came to the Club to Execute the Injunction in Türkiye

Fenerbahce has issued a sharp statement regarding Acun Ilicali's suite, escalating the ongoing dispute over the use of box number 217 at the club's stadium. The club's statement, titled 'Objection to the unlawful decision, details a legal battle that began with Ilicali's application to a consumer court and has now reached the enforcement stage, with the club also alleging that some individuals on Ilicali's guest list are Galatasaray supporters. According to the statement, Ilicali, who is not a contractual party to the suite, applied to the Istanbul Anatolian 9th Consumer Court on 27.07.2026 for an injunction to have box 217 allocated for his use.
The court rejected this request on the same date. Following Ilicali's appeal, Fenerbahce claims that a temporary panel at the Istanbul Regional Court of Appeal's 18th Law Chamber accepted the injunction request, without waiting for the club's legal response period, based on a document that the club describes as legally invalid, unsigned, and lacking any specified subject. The club says it will file a complaint with the Board of Judges and Prosecutors regarding the officials who made this decision, which it says violates the law and ignores Fenerbahce's right to defense.
On Saturday, 22 August 2026, enforcement officers came to the club to execute the injunction. The officers asked Ilicali's lawyers to present a contract showing his right to use box 217, but no such contract was produced, and this was recorded in the official minutes. Furthermore, after the injunction, Ilicali submitted a list of 10 people to watch the Fenerbahce - T. Konyaspor match on 22 August 2026 in box 217. Checks on this list revealed that 2 of these people do not have Passolig cards, and 2 others have Passolig cards registered as Galatasaray supporters.
Fenerbahce stated that attempting to include individuals with Galatasaray affiliation in an area allocated to Fenerbahce fans is a serious and unacceptable situation for stadium order and security, calling it an effort to create chaos in the stands rather than an exercise of a right. The club declared it will not tolerate any attempt that could harm the unity of the Fenerbahce community and stated it will use all its legal rights, including an individual application to the Constitutional Court to have the unlawful decision overturned. The club also noted that no contract exists between Fenerbahce Futbol A.S. and Ilicali regarding the use of box 217. The statement was published on the club's official channels and reported by Sözcü.
