🇹🇷 Türkiye44 Suspects Referred to Court for Arrest in Adana Investigation in Türkiye

In Adana, Turkey, 44 of the 56 suspects detained in the "Alparslan Kuytul Criminal Organization" investigation have been referred to the Peace Criminal Court with a request for arrest, while 9 were referred with a request for judicial control. The remaining 3 suspects were released by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. The operation, coordinated by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and carried out with the Adana Provincial Police Department, was conducted on August 19 across 6 provinces, targeting 49 addresses simultaneously.
The structure, allegedly led by Alparslan Kuytul, was the focus of the operation, during which Kuytul, his wife Semra Kuytul, and 54 other suspects were detained. Following police procedures, the suspects were transferred to the courthouse. After judicial proceedings, the court referred 44 suspects for arrest, 9 for judicial control, and released 3. The investigation continues under the coordination of the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. The suspects' legal status will be determined by the court's decisions on the arrest requests.
