🇺🇸 United StatesWe Don't Use Our Middle Linebackers in the Middle

Former Disney Channel actress Brenda Song will make her debut as a color analyst on Saturday during the preseason game between the Los Angeles Rams and New Orleans Saints. She will join the CBS Los Angeles booth for the third quarter of the game. Song, who is married to former child actor Macaulay Culkin, currently stars in the Netflix comedy series "Running Point, playing Ali Lee, the Chief of Staff for the Los Angeles Waves basketball franchise.
Her path to the broadcast booth was paved by a 2025 appearance on the "Mythical Kitchen" podcast, where she offered unsolicited advice to Rams defensive coordinator Chris Shula. "Let me tell you, Chris Shula, I like you a lot. I like what you've done with our front four, Song said.
But my issue is: We don't have a run-stopper. We don't use our middle linebackers in the middle. We can't stop the run.
Song's display of football knowledge on the podcast helped her land the color analyst role with CBS Los Angeles. She is also a die-hard Los Angeles Lakers fan. The Rams and Saints face off on Saturday, with Song set to provide analysis during the third quarter.
